Testimonials for True Tahiti Vacations

Laurel,

We just got back from our honeymoon and it was GREAT.  We loved La Villa Mahana on Bora Bora and I have to recommend the shark boy ray feeding and shark feeding with Ross.  We also loved Moorea we just did not have enough time to explore everything we wanted most of our excursions got rained out but we still enjoyed everything.
Thank you for setting up everything and making our honeymoon one to remember.

Tracy and Jason

Laurel,

Melissa and I wanted to send a personal note of thanks for the absolute perfect honeymoon that you set us up with. As an executive I have very little time to waste and depend on rock solid individuals to do what they say they will do. You not only did what you said, but you far exceeded every expectation we could have had. All the way from hand picking our rooms to the special table arrangements you had for us at La Villa Mahana, which by the way is hands down the best restaurant we have ever been to and believe me we have been to many, every aspect of our trip was dead perfect and seamless.

Melissa and I are already planning a come back tour for our five year anniversary and there is no doubt we will be looking to you again to help plan it out for us.

Warm regards,
Michael & Melissa

Laurel,

Just wanted to let you know we did not forget about you, especially while enjoying the champagne at La Villa Mahana the night of our anniversary!  What a nice surprise!

Thank you for helping us plan the most wonderful trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora.  Everything went so smoothly - all the flights, transfers and hotel accommodations.  Dinner at La Villa Mahana was amazing - we had the best table outside in the alcove and Damien even came and sat with us awhile.  The entire trip was truly an unforgettable experience.  We have been singing your praises to everyone we know!

Once again thanks for everything!!!

Dear Laurel,

Thank you SO much for your help in planning and booking our honeymoon to Bora Bora! We had the TIME OF OUR LIFE and had heartache leaving after our time there. Thanks again, and I will be sure to spread your name around to all of our engaged/traveling friends!

We had an AMAZING trip. Lots of memories that we will carry with us forever.

We honestly cannot thank you enough for all of your help. Staying at the St. Regis was the best decision we made!

Best,
Sabrina & Antranig

Hi Laurel!

I just wanted to send you a note to tell you what a fabulous and perfect honeymoon Jeff and I had and that we can not possibly thank you enough for everything! The trip was everything we dreamed it would be! We loved Moorea and the hotel was wonderful. All your tips and recommendations were so helpful. We had the most fun one afternoon when we rented a moped and drove all around the island together. Oh and we tried to send another couple from our hotel, who were thinking about getting tattoos, to your husband - but I'm not sure they went through with it!

And we adored Bora Bora! Once we saw our overwater bungalow, we decided we didn't need to go anywhere and we didnt move from our little deck for the whole four days. Except to go to La Villa Mahana - which was honestly one of the best meals we've ever had- and to get more bread to feed the fish from our deck.

We want to come back for every anniversary - probably not the most realistic plan on Earth but we're going to try for at least the big ones. :) And for now, I have to settle for just looking through my pictures over and over again.

Laurel we seriously can not thank you enough! You were a major help and so patient through all my crazy bridal insanity. If anyone I know decides to go to any of the islands I will absolutely send them your way! A million times thank you!!!

My only Tahitian regret (besides leaving my underwater camera in the boat during the Bora Bora coral garden snorkel): not meeting YOU!

We had the most AMAZING time on our honeymoon - words cannot begin to express how we felt while visiting your glorious islands.  Once my jet-lag wears off a little, and the quantity of work-work that awaited me upon my return abates, I would love to set up a time to chat.

We are still dumb with amazement, awe and wonder - our vacation topped all others and I am convinced all future vacations will pale in comparison.

Thank you for setting the stage for two of the most glorious weeks of our lives.  We are eternally grateful!

Gros bisous,
Elise & Michael

We had a wonderful time there!! The whole trip was awesome and everyone in our whole group had nothing but good to say. There were, of course, differences in everyone’s individual favorite place but all in all everyone had a great time and loved each place for something it had to offer. The trip was very well put together and you did an amazing job putting it all together for us. Everything went very smooth and there didn’t seem to be any glitches. Good job Laurel!! We will definitely recommend you and your company to anyone that wants to go there in the future. Who knows maybe you can set some of us up with our families…. We just need to figure out a cheap way to get us there via Hawaii instead of all the way through LAX.

Thanks again for the trip of a lifetime!!

Dear Laurel,
I am sorry I have not emailed sooner, but it has taken awhile to readjust to the US after just one week in French Polynesia! We loved our trip. You planned everything perfectly. The night in Papeete was perfect because we went to Le Marche Sunday morning at 5am. Lots of local color and we picked up some fruit that lasted all week in Bora Bora. Bora Bora was amazing. Pearl Beach was the best possible choice, we decided. My husband says he wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. Everyone was very kind and willing to listen to me try to speak French. La Villa Mahana was perfect. We had the table upstairs inside and, other than some drunk tourists outside at the table, it was so quiet and romantic. I am sure Damien will never forget us since we spent enough on martinis, chamagne and cognac, and then I tripped on the stairs and made a spectable of myself. :) At least we were the last ones there! We also checked out St. James Restaurant (wouldn't recommend the food but the atmosphere is great). We loved Fare Manuia. Great family running it. I bought a pearl at Tahiti Pearl Market (had to break the budget a little more), and we lunched at Hotel Bora Bora right on Matira Beach on the day we rented a car and toured the island. We also had beers at Bloody Mary's to check it out (and recover from the pearl price!). Despite checking out the island, we loved the Pearl Beach motu. Gilles was awesome. Our instructor was Phillipe, a Frenchman whose English was a little broken, but we were fine. We were alone for out certification dives, and we did another dive with just two other students after those. Gilles' wife is awesome. I loved talking to her. I also had a massage and met your Tucson friends. The wife was with her midwife but the husband was very kind, although I could tell he was very busy with the spa that day. OK, that's my summary. Thanks again for all your planning work. I can't think of any complaints. We want to go back soon, but I think it will have to wait for a few years. Maybe we'll try somewhere budget-friendly like Belize next year and then see if French Polynesia fits in somewhere down the line. Definitely want to see Moorea and some of the smaller islands.

Thank you again. It was a perfect trip!

Hi Laurel,

We are back and we had a fabulous time in French Polynesia. You have done such a wonderful job...we had great villas @ Bora Bora ( number 15) and Le Tahaa (number 20) and Radisson gave up as split level suite!

The meal at Villa Mahana was fantastic, we had the 4 course meal and the service was excellent. They got us from and to the restaurant in a nice SUV!

At the moment I am so in love with the pool boy in Le Tahaa! I'm even thinking of staying behind! I think it made up for the lack of service at Le Tahaa (sad to say their guest relation employees uniforms were torn and scabby and their front desk operation was poorly managed).

But overall, I think what stole my heart away was the faces of beautiful children in French Polynesia. Jason and I are seriously thinking of adopting and if you have any knowledge, perhaps you could share along.

Thank you again for all of your help. I plan on passing your contact information to my colleagues and friends, so you will be hearing from more folks!

Jason and Serena

Hi Laurel!

Not sure if you remember us but you booked our honeymoon last year? We came over to your house and your husband gave us both awesome tattoos?

Anyway, we were just breaking out the Tahitian coffee that you gave us when I realized that I never sent you a follow up email as I promised! I realize that it's been almost a year now but I wanted to follow up just the same. I figure that it's never too late to say thank you!

We really had such a great time on our honeymoon and we wanted to thank you for doing such a great job planning it. All of your recommendations were superb! We are world travelers and do a lot of traveling so we're not used to having someone else plan a vacation. I am so used to doing everything myself that I was a bit afraid of sending so much money to one place. You
definitely put all of our worries to rest! You were so helpful during the planning process -- always so responsive and organized! That was so reassuring. You were also really helpful while we were in Tahiti. It was nice knowing that you were available during our stay. It was fantastic not to have to worry about anything! We were able to really relax knowing that
everything was taken care of (from the transportation to and from the airport, to the inter-island flight). It really made such a difference. :)

I also wanted to say thank you to your husband for the great job he did on our tattoos. We love them so much and have gotten so many compliments on them. We're both always so proud to show them off. And to think that he did them both free-hand! Amazing! He is a true artist.

As for the places we visited, we both agreed that Moorea was our favorite of the three islands we saw. The hotel was really nice (Sofitel Moorea Beach Resort) and we enjoyed the food at the restaurant. We loved the fact that the rooms were recently done over. They were very clean and modern - just what you would expect for the expensive price. The lagoon over there is
absolutely breathtaking and we swam in it every day - so clear and warm. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. You could tell that there was more of a International influence (as opposed to an American influence) and that was much more our style.

We definitely enjoyed Bora Bora, although not as much. We stayed at the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort which wasn't as nice as we had hoped. First, they had overbooked the over water bungalows so we had to wait a day or two. That ended up ok because we talked them into giving us a nice coupon for the spa and some money off of our bill, which was totally worth it. The spa was simply amazing. The rooms were a bit outdated, they had a persistent bee problem, and the staff was kind of rude but overall we still enjoyed our stay there. As I said, the spa was amazing and they did have a lot of activities going on. We went to Bloody Mary's and also went jet-skiing which was a blast. And although the loud American tourist vibe kind of put us off at first, we ended up meeting a few couples that turned into friends - so that was totally worth it.

Again, you did such a fantastic job, I can't thank you enough. If you ever need a reference, please feel free to put our names and contact information down. I'll definitely be recommending you to everyone I know. You're the best! Thanks again! Say hello to your family for us!

Andrea & Nathan

Dear Laurel,
I am having trouble coming up with words to describe the amazing vacation we had in Bora Bora. Thanks to you, we had the most amazing stay at the Sofitel Motu. That was exactly the type of hotel we were looking for and the service was impeccable. We got the bungalow I requested and that meant we were the furthest out with an amazing view of the mountain. We constantly had fish swimming underneath us and even saw an octopus and a family of sharks. It was truly indescribable! We travelled all around the island by the land Safari (do recommend Vavau 4 X 4 tours!) and by boat. We found a lovely pearl boutique called Matira Pearls where the owner (Steve Fearon) is American, married to a Tahitian. His son (Heirama) runs the Vavau safari tours, which is what we were originally looking for. They were so helpful, not pushy and so we asked them for a recommendation for shark feeding tours. They gave us the name of a man called Marona and that was the highlight of our stay. He picked us up in his boat at the Sofitel Motu and took us on a 4.5 hour trip around Bora Bora. He told us the whole history of the island, took us to ancient Polynesian temple sites, we swam with sharks, fed the sting rays, went snorkeling in a private reserve with the most amazing colorful fish and he took us to his private motu for fresh fruit and more history. He was a lovely man and I could not recommend him enough. He was only 90 USD cash per person, which was considerably cheaper than what the hotel wanted to charge us, plus we got our own private tour! Really she made our stay.

La Villa Mahana was also a highlight for my birthday. You were not kidding when you said it was amazing food. We were in heaven!!! I loved the atmosphere and Damien was so hospitable and delightful. Stig is allergic to fish, so he easily acccommodated his menu to fit Stig. Truly an adventure!!

I am enclosing a few pictures for you to see. I cannot thank you enough for all your tips and recommendations and even telling us which side of the plane to sit on was helpful. The hotels were wonderful with gifts for us to celebrate our anniversary and we were so impressed by the Sofitel. It was truly an amazing hotel and you were so right about it.

Thank you again and if you ever need any recommendations or you wish to use us to advertise your services, please do so. We couldn¹t have done it without you!!

All the best,
Monica

i just wanted to send you a quick note and say thank you very much for all of your help in planning our honeymoon. everything turned out perfect. the resorts were great as were our flights. it is an amazing place and an experience we will cherish forever as it also turns out that we brought back with us a very special souvenir of a baby. (yes amy¹s pregnant). Thanks again for everything you did and helping with dinner reservations and the dolphin experience that was a lot of fun. we were going to see your husband for a tattoo but some how ran out of time. guess we will have to save that for the next trip.

Thanks again,

Hi Laurel!

Well, we made it back to the States and are missing our leisurely life already! I just wanted to say thank you for all of the work you did for us and for always willingly answering all of our many questions. We appreciated how available you were to us before and during the trip.

We had a marvelous time and I can honestly say that it was the best vacation that we have had so far. And we have taken quite a few trips. It helped that it only rained one day of our 11 day trip and by that time, the rain was refreshing and the cool weather was very welcome to us Colorado folks! The Sheraton in Moorea was wonderful. The rooms were very nice and comfortable and spacious! The fresh water pool was great as well as the Rotui Grill right on the resort. We did the 4x4 safari which we truly enjoyed as it was just us and a French couple, who were very sweet although neither one of us spoke the other's language! We also enjoyed our dive with Topdive. The snorkeling at the Sheraton was amazing. We ate at Le Mahogany which was delicious.

As much as we enjoyed Moorea, Bora Bora was a whole other experience! We loved the personal service of the Hotel Bora Bora. You always felt as if you were the only guests there. And the beauty of the island is unsurpassed! We were glad that we got the OWB here. Thank you so much for making the request for a deep OWB! We were very pleased with our room. It
is more dated than the Sheraton, but we loved the Polynesian flair and the charm. What we loved most was the reef right by our deck! In the first 10 minutes of snorkeling from our OWB, we saw a sea turtle and an eagle ray! It was magnificent! Although HBB doesn't have a public fresh water pool, we didn't miss it since we stayed in the deep OWB. We heard from the manager of HBB that they are completely tearing the place down starting in October of this year. He estimates it will take 2 years to rebuild. We will miss it and hope that they keep the Polynesian charm. We also enjoyed the fact that there weren't a million OWB on the resort (like some others). We loved all the little perks that came with our stay here, like the free cake and tea every day from 3-5pm and the manager's reception that had wonderful food and drinks. We got to meet a lot of other guests during this time and it felt very intimate. We didn't realize how many guests were actually on the resort until the reception...that's how quiet it was during our stay! We enjoyed our dive with Nemo World and we kayaked to the Coral Gardens and snorkeled there. The only minor thing was that the dive shop at the HBB is not staffed since they joined up with Nemo World, so we booked the dive without meeting the divemasters, which we always try to do. It didn't matter in the end as the divemasters were all great. One of our most memorable experiences, though, was our dinner at La Villa Mahana. WOW! It exceeded all our expectations - from the service to the food to the Chef. Chef Damien was wonderful and gracious. We felt more like we were eating at a friend's house than at his restaurant.

The one thing we came away with after this once-in-a-lifetime trip was how welcoming and warm the Tahitians all are. They do not expect tips yet the service was spectacular, especially in Bora Bora. We never felt like an intrusion, but a welcome guest. We left Tahiti adoring their culture and commitment to service.

Anyway, thank you again for making this trip happen. We will never forget it and plan to return one day. Thank you also for informing us that our flight back to LA was delayed. It gave us time to plan ahead and it was very considerate. We ran into other travelers who were not informed by their travel agent. They were not happy. Anyway, thanks again for making it all easy on us. Everything went very smoothly and all of our transfers were right on time. We will definitely recommend you to others!

Sincerely,
Nanette and Mike

Hi Laurel,

We finally made it back to San Jose a few hours ago. Our honeymoon in Moorea and Bora Bora was AMAZING! The hotels that you recommended and booked for us definitely fulfilled our needs. We rented a car for two days on Moorea and explored the island and local restaurants. What a gorgeous place to live! You are so lucky to call this heavenly place home. The locals and hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. I think my most memorable dinner on Moorea was not at some fancy restaurant, but rather the rotisserie chicken and potatoes that my husband, Kevin and I picked up from Ma Poulette! Another fun experience was visiting the Jus de Fruits of Moorea factory. I must say, I've never done a "liquor tasting" with 40 proof liquor at 9 in the morning before! On our last day in Moorea, we were sad to leave but excited to move on to Bora Bora.

When Kevin and I arrived in Bora Bora, we were told that we were assigned to OWB #44 and I swear to you, I jumped up and down with glee. That's one of the bungalows that I asked you to request for me a few months back. I'm pretty sure I didn't get it by chance so THANK YOU so much! We had a million dollar view of Mt. Otemanu. It made waking up every morning a truly pleasurable experience. As for my impression of Bora Bora, well, its beauty literally took my breath away. Kevin and I enjoyed snorkeling and jet skiing in its pristine waters. As for the weather, it was warm everyday with just a few hours of rain towards the end of the trip, but nothing too bad. However, it was a lot windier than Moorea. Is that normal for this time of year? Kevin and I took the water shuttle to town every night for dinner. We ate at Kaina Hut, Villa Mahana, Bloody Mary's, and Matira. All of the dinners were lovely, however, my favorite meal of the trip was hands down Villa Mahana. What a charming and quaint restaurant! The chef took time out of his schedule to come and speak with us about the menu and his recommendations! We appreciated the personal attention and the food was superb. The Bora Bora Pearl Resort is a romantic, luxurious place. Their staff was always quick to respond to our requests and questions. In fact, they delivered your fax to me not once, but I think 3 times! :)

I was really sad to leave paradise yesterday. Kevin and I are thinking of returning to French Polynesia for one of our future anniversaries. It truly has become a special place for us and will forever hold wonderful memories. Thank you for your assistance over the past year with planning this unforgettable and amazing honeymoon. I'm confident that your expertise with the islands and resorts contributed to our wonderful trip. I will definitely recommend you and French Polynesia to anyone who will listen!

Best,
Linh & Kevin

Hello Laurel - Bonjour!

Carrie, Hortonville, WI We have been home for a week now, but we immensely enjoyed our honeymoon in Tahiti! Moorea was our favorite island - and Laurel, wow, you put us into the nicest resort - we loved the Sofitel's deluxe garden bungalow and really loved the overwater bungalow! It had a nice view of the peak and we loved being able to just jump off of our dock and go swimming or snorkeling! We only ate at the restaurant once, but the food was great and the dance show was good too. Though we realized what kinds of wonderful food we were missing out on, we rented bikes twice and went to the grocery store for bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit... but that was a fun experience too. We did the 4x4 tour and our guide was really funny and great!

Our time on Bora Bora was nice as well - the Novotel is a nice place and we spent more time on the beach and on the road, going to Vaitape. Bloody Marys was a treat! Just an easygoing atmosphere. The Miki Miki jet-ski tour was a thrill and the coconut opening demo very enjoyable (and quite tasty!) Our couples massage at the Pearl Beach Resort/Manea Spa was great too - beautiful surroundings, loved that the spa was kind of over-the-water! We ended up talking to the manager, Tony, who gave us each a pareo when we mentioned that you had referred us to the spa! That was cool and we even found out that he lived/worked in Wisconsin for a few years - just a small small world!

So THANK YOU Laurel - many many thanks! Andy and I were so happy to visit a cool place like Tahiti and we hope to go back for a future anniversary! Tahiti/Moorea/BoraBora are just as beautiful as you said they'd be :)

Sincerely,
Carrie

Laurel,

Just got back and wanted to thank you for arranging an amazing honeymoon at the last minute.

We had a fantastic time in Moorea and Bora Bora, everything worked out great, amazing place, friendly people and beautiful hotels. This was our best vacation so far.

The transfers were perfect we left lax at 10.30pm, landed early in ppt at 5.15am, caught an earlier flight and were relaxing in our OWB in Moorea by 7.45am!

Your information and advice sheet was very helpful and we managed to have some very memorable island meals due to your recommendations.

Thanks again for all you help and I only wish I could start planning our next trip to FP with you right now.

Best,
Raj

We just wanted to thank you so much for a great honeymoon. We loved everything about it, the accommodations, the service, the food. We absolutely loved La Villa Mahana, poisson cru (had it several times) and all the other suggestions you made. James - I love the tattoo and have enclosed some pictures of you in action and the final product. I received lots of compliments along the way, especially from the locals. The folks at the Tiki Village really liked the work, as well as Fred at the Pearl Beach Spa in Bora Bora. Thank you again for such an excellent job. Perhaps we'll see you again for an anniversary visit, and maybe another tattoo - after all they are addicting. :)

Hi Laurel,

We were back to LA yesterday and we want to thank you for all the arrangements, advice and recommendations you had given to us. We had a wonderful time in Moorea and Bora Bora. I think it is the best trip I have ever had so far. For sure, without your assistance, we couldn't have had such an amazing honeymoon in Tahiti. It was just perfect!

Moorea and Bora Bora are the most beautiful places I have been to. I really like the activities we planned in both islands. We had tried a little bit of everything.

Bora Bora Nui is GREAT! I think the hotel has messed up something. At the time we arrived, they sent us to the garden bungalow. They said the booking is 2 nights garden bungalow and 1 night over-water bungalow. Thus, I showed them the confirmation which stated that we can stay in the over-water bungalow for the entire stay. Then, they did give us the over-water bungalow for all 3 nights. I think we were really lucky on this because the over-water bungalow is spacious and beautiful as you said. The services were excellent.

Also, the trip to see the sea turtles in Le Meridien was more than fun. We swam with 3 to 4 big sea turtles for an hour. It was really great. One thing I want to tell you, we waited for an hour for the boat to come to pick us from Bora Bora Nui to Le Meridien. Thus, the manager in Le Meridien whose name is Brice paid the lunch for us for apology. I really don't think he needed to do that. But that's really kind of him. For some reasons, I think it is because of you. Anyway, if you have a chance to talk to Brice, please say 'Thank You' on behalf of us to him again. We really had a great time in there.

I think we had a prefect trip for our honeymoon. Thank you again for the wonderful job you had done for us. Definitely, I will refer you to all of my friends who want to travel to Tahiti in the future.

Regards,
Yvonne & Henry

Hi James and Laurel,

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you guys know we had a great time in Moorea and Bora Bora. It was everything I had hoped it would be, truly paradise I can’t wait until next time I can come back. I think about the islands often and wish I was there surfing now instead of sitting in the freezing weather here! Laurel we especially enjoyed La Villa Mahana they gave us the romantic table all by itself outside it was great and it was seriously some of the best food we have ever had!

James, thanks again for the great tattoo, I love it and the fact that there is not another one out there like it is awesome. I hear some friends we made in Bora Bora came to get a tattoo from you as well. I told them you were great and it sounds like you hooked David up with a sick tattoo as well (David & Felicity). Remember to warn the surfers coming from the mainland about the current in the pass so they don’t have to paddle half way around the world like me!

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks and hopefully we will see you again someday (on a surfing trip I hope!).

Your friends,

Hi Laurel,

We came back yesterday and I am sending you this e-mail the next day. Thank you so much! IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! Thank you for choosing such beautiful islands for us.

We love Moorea and I understand why you stay there. Hotel Sofitel was out of this world! We were very lucky that Pearl Beach had a strike. We went to see it after and realized how lucky we are. It was not as beautiful as Sofitel. But if we never had gone to the Sofitel, we probably would never know it. The beach was the best! Our bungalow was right on the beach. The best!

Bora-Bora also beautiful, completely different from Moorea. Lagoon is out of this world. Our wedding was just perfect!!! Weather was perfect (only one day there was no rain, just for us!).

Manihi - so cute, so different! We did all: picnic on the private motu, snorkeling, fishing, pearl farm. New Year's party was delightful. It felt like we were in someone's house. We had a lot of friends by then so everyone was so comfortable with each other. Staff is fantastic. We told them that we would like to leave a day earlier to see Tahiti island and they booked for us the Radisson Hotel. Again we were lucky because we booked a plain room and they upgraded us to a suite for the same price. We had a gorgeous view on the black sand beach, rented a car (we rented a car on all of the islands) and went around the island. We love it too!

Anyway, I will send you a couple of our photos so you may use them for your website in the future. By the way, from your side, the organization was very good. We did not have any problem anywhere. Really good job on this part.

Laurel, thank you again. You did a wonderful job. I already gave your name to my co-workers.

All the Best in New Year!

Hi Laurel,

Happy new year. We are back from our Tahiti trip.

The lagoon at Bora Bora was beautiful. Bora Bora Lagoon Resort was good; our bungalow was spacious, neat, and comfortable. The ground is beautiful, and staff are friendly. Naomi enjoyed feeding fish from the pier. The shark feeding/Lagoonarium excursion was really fun. We saw lots of sharks, rays and other fish. Due to two hours time difference Naomi became very sleepy at earlier time. The first night she fell to sleep during the dinner and we had to carry her back to the room from the restaurant. We had a dinner at Kaina Hut one day, and it was great.

Vahine Island was wonderful. Very different from Bora Bora, very quiet and secluded, with great food. We absolutely enjoyed it there. Naomi played with owner’s kids and had so much fun. They went fishing, swimming, cracking sea urchins for snack. They caught two baby sharks. We tried Tahaa tour one day, visiting vanilla farm and pearl farm. The island of Tahaa is very green, and people are very friendly and welcoming. The sunrise and sunset from the Vahine were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed snorkeling around the resort everyday.

The trip was wonderful. Naomi can’t wait talking about her experience in the sharing time at her school. She is preparing sea shells, vanilla beans and photographs with shark to bring to the school for her talk. Everything went smoothly, and we can’t wait to go back there in our near future. I’d like to visit Moorea next! Thanks so much Laurel for all your help. We look forward visiting there soon!

Just wanted to tell you we got back Sunday and the trip couldn't have been better. We didn't have any problems, the flights and the transfers were so easy and everything was taken care of for us. It was like we didn't even have to think about anything, everything was perfect. So I would just like to thank you for all your help with making our honeymoon so perfect. Thanks again and hope all is well with you.

Hi Laurel! We are back this morning!! Ahhh, Tahiti is just so amazing, it has been 10 years since I was there last and the feeling hasn't changed!

Huahine was SOOOO cool, we loved it. The hotel (Te Tiare) was epic, the locals were so cool... a bunch of California dudes sailed out and have been living there since the mid-sixties....now with Tahititian wives and all! Mark played some poker with them, we put back a few Hinanos, it was great. Mark went surfing at Fiti, a great spot, we rented a dingy and I parked out on the reef while he caught some great waves. We rented a car and drove around the island, all I can say it was heaven.

We got to Bora and were a little sad to leave the peace and quiet of Huahine, there is a total change in energy! The hotel (Bora Bora Pearl Beach) was great and our overwater bungalow was so cool! The weather turned the next day, and we had crazy wind, rain, for the next 3 days! Mark and I are positive people so we did our absolute best to keep laughing, drink champagne... The last 2 days were really perfect though; we did a buggy tour to the other side of the motu and the guy let us hang on the secluded beach all day - he cut up some coconuts, mango, watermelon, papaya... all I needed was a beach bar and it would have been perfect! We met so many fun people, we just were all smiles. It was honestly our best trip! We are planning for the next one - most likely Huahine, Raiatea, and Tahaa in 3 years!

Thanks so much for your help with setting it all up :-) Mark said we had one kick-ass travel agent! I'll send you some pics when I finally upload them!

Thanks again,

Thank you very much for booking my honeymoon for me! Chris and I had a wonderful time in Moorea and Bora Bora. All of the excursions that you booked for us were great! Chris especially liked the shark and ray feeding in Moorea. The food in Moorea was really good -- we even bought chicken from La Rotisserie (it's a white truck located at the beginning of the street heading towards the Belvedere Lookout). The IC Thalasso in Bora Bora was amazing. Although we had the first bungalow, we had a spectacular view of the main island. Thanks again! We had so much fun on our honeymoon!

Hi Laurel! Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you and to let you know that we had a FANTASTIC time on our trip! It truly was an amazing experience being in paradise...with our senses on overload everystep of the way! We enjoyed the sights, sounds, and especially the people and the culture...We found many parallels to our own history and culture being of American Native decent..and last but not least meeting James and getting our Tahitian tattoo! All fond memories we will never forget! Thanks again! Counting the days until we return!

We want to thank you for arranging the best vacation we have had. We really enjoyed Moorea and Bora Bora. All of the accommodations were outstanding and the service was excellent. We ate at several of the restaurants you suggested and they were all very nice. When we checked into the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort we were pleasantly surprised, a honeymoon couple had reserved a bungalow with flowers strewn all over the room, champagne, and a chocolate mousse with fresh strawberries, they cancelled after the decorations were done, so the hotel upgraded us to this bungalow since it was our anniversary. That was a pleasant surprise. We can't say enough about the excellent service you provided for our trip. It was also very nice meeting you, James and your children and getting to spend some time with all of you. I have attached photos of the tattoos James did for us since the battery on his camera died before he could finish taking pictures. I don't know if he can use them or not, if he needs other pictures let us know. Thanks again and we look forward to doing business with you in the future.

After working with True Tahiti to plan our island vacation, I am spoiled. True Tahiti is much more than a travel service; it's like having a good friend who lives in French Polynesia. Not only did you help us choose the locations that suited us perfectly, but you were there when we needed help. You seem to have connections with everyone on the island! There is no way we'd have been able to know about visiting the romantic locations you suggested if you hadn't told us -- they're not listed anywhere. And we still aren't sure what strings you pulled to get us into the restaurant when the concierge at the hotel couldn’t! We're still savoring the delicious memories from that day.

I can't thank you enough for your advice and assistance. Your prices are terrific, but you go far beyond what an ordinary service would offer. You truly care about your clients and treat us like friends. Your knowledge of the islands, combined with an understanding what Americans are looking for when they travel, made us feel as if we had a personal shopper setting up every detail for us. It made a special trip even more memorable and we will recommend you to everyone we know.

My husband and I are back from our Tahitian honeymoon and we wanted to thank you for putting together such an amazing trip for us. Moorea and Tahaa were wonderful and even though we were on a budget, we never felt like it due to the fantastic places you chose for us to stay and recommendations on where to dine. Our beach bungalow at La Pirogue on Tahaa was simply heaven and the beach bungalow at Fare Vai Moana felt like we had our own little home on Moorea. Both islands were spectacularly beautiful in their own way and each offered exactly what we wanted for this trip. Also, the excursions you organized for us were so enjoyable -- the most memorable for us was the day in Moorea when we visited the stingray feeding area to snorkel and then had a picnic lunch on the motu. What an amazing experience...

All in all, it truly was the perfect honeymoon, in large part because of the close attention you paid to our specific needs and your intimate and seemingly unending knowledge of Tahiti and Her Islands!

Thanks again, Laurel. You will definitely be hearing from us in the future, we loved Tahiti so much that we are already trying to figure out when we can return.

When one is planning a dream vacation, seldom do they think tragedy will strike. After receiving the phone call my father had a heart attack, I can honestly say I am so thankful we booked our trip with you. The fact you are in Moorea made all the difference in the world. You were right there and able to take control. You moved our flights, cancelled our hotel reservations and had a taxi waiting for us. We got on the next flight home and I was able to be with my dad when he needed me most. I am happy to report he is recovering beautifully. We will definitely be returning very soon and I want you to know I will recommend True Tahiti to everyone I speak to. I know with certainty a travel agent in the states would not have been able to respond to our urgent needs as rapidly as you did. Thank you so much for your help and kindness.

We just arrived home last night, and I have to thank you for an absolutely perfect honeymoon. We had a spectacular time!

I was already on the phone with my mom telling her all about it. Not only were your prices better than every other company I spoke to but you gave us such good advice! We loved our beach bungalow at the InterContinental in Moorea and you were right, the Garden Pool Bungalows at the Bora Bora Pearl Beach were really romantic. You know I was bummed about not being able to afford an Overwater Bungalow but I have to say, I was honestly so happy with the Garden Pool Bungalows. What we gave up in view, we made up for in space and privacy. We loved ordering room service and eating in outside under the thatched cabana.

I could go on and on. I really just want to thank you for creating a honeymoon we will always cherish!

We had a fabulous time! The only things we would change were the weather and hopefully next time we go we will have more money to spend! Hotel Bora Bora was lovely and their service was out of this world. I would highly recommend their hotel. The beaches and snorkeling were wonderful too. We have been longing for Bora Bora since the day we got back! Thanks so much for all that you did to make our vacation so awesome. I will definitely be looking you up when we have enough money to go back!

Just wanted to thank you for a fantastic vacation. You had great recommendations on all of the hotels and islands. I can honestly say, having traveled much of the world, that French Polynesia is actually more beautiful than the photos. We now want to see even more islands and will definitely contact you to plan our next trip.
