Motu Teta
Motu Teta is an island paradise untouched by civilization. Located 90-minutes by boat from the Rangiroa airport, it accommodates a maximum of 10 guests. There is the Main Villa with 3 bedrooms in 2,250 sq ft of space and there is the Royale Bungalow with 2 bedrooms in 765 sq ft of space. Motu Teta is designed to be a tropical escape from civilization but should you desire amenities from the modern world, you’ll find a flat screen TV and dvd player with an eclectic collection of music & films. At Motu Teta, all your meals & drinks are included in the price. You let your private chef know what and when you’d like to eat and it will be taken care of. In addition all excursions are complimentary (wind surfing, kite sailing, boating, motu picnics, lobster hunt, scuba diving, etc.)

Hotel Kia Ora
Hotel Kia Ora is closed in 2010 for renovations
Bordering the massive lagoon, you pass through a large coconut plantation to reach the The Hotel Kia Ora. The Kia Ora is the only luxury resort in Rangiroa and has a total of 63 air-conditioned bungalows including Garden, Beach and Overwater. There are deluxe beach suites and bungalows with private Jacuzzis. The Overwater bungalows have a glass coffee tables, allowing you a view of the beauty down under. The hotel features an overwater bar with glass floor, an open-air restaurant and freshwater swimming pool.

Kia Ora Sauvage
Think Robinson Crusoe and imagine the ultimate get-away from civilization. The Kia Ora Sauvage is located on the opposite side of the atoll from the Hotel Kia Ora. An hour boat ride will bring you to a private motu with just 5 thatched roof bungalows -- accommodating only 10 guests. Here you will experience life without telephones, internet and electricity. Nighttime, your private island is lit by tiki torches. You will dine under the stars. The friendly hosts are there to assure you experience a truly magical time.

Novotel Rangiroa Lagoon Resort
Located at the water’s edge, the Novotel Rangiroa Lagoon Resort is a comfortable 3-star hotel with 38 units – 22 Garden Rooms, 10 Garden Bungalows and 6 beach bungalows. The hotel is located between the villages of Tiputa and Avatoru and is conveniently located to a market and other restaurants. The Novotel provides a nice alternative to the 5-star Kia Ora and the many pensions. It has an excellent restaurant and the bar provides a daily happy hour.

Relais de Josephine
Situated right on the Tiputa pass, you will often see dolphins playing from the terrace bar. The Relais de Jospehine is a wonderful bed & breakfast. There are a total of 6 bungalows and all are beautifully appointed with teak furniture in the French Colonial style and all have thatched roofs. Well known for its delicious home cooking, everything at the Relais de Josephine is made from scratch, including the preserves.
