Located on Motu Tautau, Le Taha'a, Island Resort & Spa was designed to be the most luxurious hotel in French Polynesia. The resort faces the island of Tahaa on the lagoon side and offers a view of Bora Bora on the ocean side. Coral gardens surround this resort, providing the perfect combination of luxury, privacy and exquisite natural beauty. When you arrive in Raiatea, a private water taxi will be waiting at the airport to bring you directly to the hotel. Within 30 minutes, you will arrive at the resort and warmly welcomed with an ice cold drink and brought to your bungalow. For those seeking the ultimate in private transportation, helicopter service is also available from the islands of Bora Bora and Tahiti.

There are 48 Overwater Suites and 12 Beach Villas. Each is built in the traditional Polynesian style with thatched roofs and local materials. The Beach Villas have a private patio and garden with private swimming pool and outdoor bath and shower, while the Overwater Bungalows also have a private deck with access to the lagoon.

The public areas of the hotel are built in the trees providing wonderful views of Tahaa and her lagoon. The hotel also features three restaurants and the acclaimed Manea Spa. You will also find the on-site dive center, Blue Nui. Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa is a member of Relais & Chateaux.

Bungalows

12 Beach Villas each have a private pool, tropical gardens and are surrounded by rock walls, offering complete privacy. There is an air conditioned bedroom with king size bed (or two twins), TV and a living room with sofa. A large terrace opens onto a private pool and fare pote (dining table & chairs with ceiling fan).

34 Taha'a Overwater Suites overlook the main island of Taha'a and its amazing tropical vegetation. All Overwater Suites offer exclusive accomodation with 100 sqm with terrace, lounge chairs, sundeck and direct acces to the lagoon. Very well appointed bathroom with separate toilets.

6 Sunset view Overwater Suites. These suites offer an incredible view of the sunset. All overwater suites offer exclusive facilities.

8 Bora Bora view Overwater Suites. These suites offer a breathtaking view of the island of Bora Bora, the Pearl of the Pacific.

Dining

There are three restaurants and two bars at Le Taha'a:

La Plage restaurant is located by the pool and beachside. Vanille and Ohiri are located in the heart of the resort among the beautiful trees. Vanille is the main restaurant and Ohiri is reserved for fine dining.

You can also enjoy beach barbecues and Polynesian and seafood buffets accompanied with live entertainment

Spa

The Manea Spa at Le Taha'a is blessed with an exceptional location, nestled in the shade of a coconut grove between the meandering waters of a small lake and the lagoon. It is built out of natural materials in the traditional Polynesian style to ensure that it merges perfectly with its motu environment.
