Posada de Mike Rapu is an Explora hotel.  It’s located in the southwestern part of the island on almost 10 hectares of land facing the sea. Volcanic rock and wood from the main island are the principal materials used to build this stunning hotel. There are a total of 26 rooms and 4 suites, an outstanding dining room and la Casa de Baños Hare Vai — a massage studio, swimming pool and open-air Jacuzzi.  This is definitely the nicest hotel on the island. Hotel facilities include: library, internet access, laundry, jacuzzi, outique, swimming pool. Centrally located in the town of Hanga Roa, the Hotel O’tai is a pleasant family owned property near the coast with 41 rooms. This pension is located at about 10mn (1km) from downtown, in a lovely garden and faces the ocean. About 10-minutes away, you’ll find the historical site of Ahu Tahai and  museum. This is a nice little pension with friendly staff who do their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Facilities include internet, video and laundry. Room facilities include ceiling fan, hair dryer upon request, mini bar (superior rooms) and safety box. Activities include horseback riding.
